Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (91¸£Àûµ¼º½PDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ departments. The purpose of the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½PDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ community

To provide liaison between 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The 91¸£Àûµ¼º½PDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½PDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
